Nader (Chief Executive Officer) holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Finance) a Masters (Accounting) and is member of Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Before joining the Multiplant management team, Nader spent the past nine years with KPMG providing services to predominately the mining and oil and gas industry, both in Australia and overseas. Nader has experience in assurance, capital markets and other advisory services to key Australian and global mining and oil and gas companies. Nader’s skills and experience provide him with the insight and understanding of project and operating asset economics and the risks faced by mining and oil and gas companies. Nader works closelywith the management team to ensure the delivery of a service that is above expectation and a valued business partnership is established.    

Andrew (General Manager of Operations) is an electrician by trade and has spent the past 20 years in the Goldfields and Pilbara regions providing mining services to companies such as BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Woodside, Dampier Salt, FMG and Apache. Andrew is personally responsible for the day-to-day operations and delivery of our services. Andrew has always developed excellent working relationships with business partner senior members of management and staff of all levels. Andrew is an experienced operator with a passion for all things mechanical and oversees the maintenance of all plant and equipment. Andrew is also responsible for the Occupational Health and Safety of our service team.

Jaysen (Director) is a mechanic by trade and has spent the past 27 years as an owner and operator of several successful businesses in the northwest of Australia. Jaysen’s knowledge and experience of all things mechanical ensure that all of Multiplant’s equipment is maintained to a high standard to ensure high utilization rates and minimal down time. Jaysen has a significant people focus which ensures the best outcome from his team and client.

Responsibilities

Management are committed to:

  • Integrating OHS into all aspects of Multiplant’s operations
  • Compliance with legislative requirements, current industry standards and co-operation with Regulatory bodies, as far as is reasonable
  • Exceeding legislative requirements and aiming for best practice systems of work
  • Measurable targets to ensure continued improvement reflected in accountability/key performance indicators at all levels
  • Provision and maintenance of a work environment that is safe and without risks to health
  • Consultation with employees and other parties to improve decision-making on OHS and environmental matters
  • Development, implementation and review of written safe work procedures

Policy

Drug & Alcohol 

Multiplant is committed to providing a work environment for its employees, clients and visitors that is safe and without risks to health and safety. The misuse or abuse of alcohol and other drugs represents a significant problem to both employers and employees in terms of workplace incidents/near misses, absenteeism and other individual costs.

Policy

An employee must not perform work duties under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, except where the drug is legally prescribed by a registered medical practitioner for the purposes of treating a medical condition. Work duties include:

  • Presenting at the workplace or off-site job. 
  • Operating plant or equipment
  • Use of company vehicles 

Where an employee is on prescribed medication that may impair their judgement or performance, they must notify their supervisor and may be required to take sick leave.

On occasion, Multiplant will host social functions, where the Managing Director / CEO may permit limited alcohol consumption.Where an employee presents for duty and appears not to be in a fit state to carry out their normal duties Multiplant reserves the right to remove the employee from the work site and seek advice from a medical practitioner on the employee's fitness for duty.

Supervisors and employees are obliged to ensure that no employee commences or continues duty if that employee appears affected by alcohol, illegal drugs or medication that may reasonably be considered to lead to a safety risk.Confidentiality is to be strictly observed in these matters.

A breach of this policy will lead to disciplinary action and may result in the termination of employment.

Environment 

Multiplant is committed to conducting business in an environmentally aware and responsible manner.  We seek the co-operation of our employees and business partners in ensuring our organisational practices are conducted with minimal environmental impact. We work with employees, contractors, visitors and business partners to achieve compatibility between economic development and the maintenance of the environment to minimise harm.

Policy

To fulfil this commitment, Multiplant, will observe all environment laws and promote environmental awareness among all staff to increase understanding of environmental matters.

Multiplant will actively take part in the following:

  • Assess eco-footprint to identify environmental impacts and move towards more sustainable practices
  • Identify waste streams and options for effective waste management
  • Improve purchasing (buy recycled materials, reduce waste, use less harmful/volatile chemicals)
  • Improve storage (reduce quantity, waste and spills, Reduce odours by keeping containers closed)
  • Conserve energy (eco-friendly lights, turn lights off, emergency efficient equipment, greener fuel sources –such as LPG and methane).
  • Conserve water (install water saving accessories, repair leaks)
  • Preserve water ways (clearly mark and protect storm water drains)
  • Emergency planning and spill response
  • Seek appropriate licenses/permits from State Environmental Protection Agencies and other relevant authorities
  • Improve education/awareness
  • Notify relevant authority in the event of a major environmental impact

Mining & Civil Works

Our experienced mining and civil management team will deliver your requirements safely, on time and within budget. We have the ability to move large volumes of material with a comprehensive, fully maintained fleet which is supported by a team who live Multiplant and your values.

Our experience includes bulk earthworks, concrete installation, project rehabilitation, conveyor line preparation, crushing, screening, gas pipeline installation and construction of roads, drill pads, rail formations, tailings dams, run-of-mine pads, accommodation camps and production facilities (gas and mining).
